Durante la inauguración del complejo, el gobernador del Estado de México, Alfredo del Mazo, se mostró esperanzado de que el desarrollo sea un detonador para que la actividad económica de la región crezca. Según sus palabras, con este centro Amazon acapara el 30% del total de metros cuadrados comerciales del Estado de México, según informa Milenio.
